Omni Bedford Springs Resort Wedding
As I’m writing this it’s so freaking cold outside (-16 degrees) that I don’t even want to think about leaving my warm office until spring! But these photos from Lauren and Tom’s Omni Bedford Springs Resort Wedding are warming my heart. The event took place in the middle of summer over the July 4th holiday. It was elegant, beautiful, classy, and filled with fun. Check out some of my favorite images from the day:
Getting Ready at the Resort
Lauren has her makeup done.
Lauren smiles as her mom Denise checks out her makeup.
Tom shares a laugh with his groomsman Mike as they get ready for the wedding (photo by Lisa).
Lauren’s sister Nicole (left) checks her look in a mirror as bridesmaid Jaci finishes tying the bow on the back of her dress.
Tom’s groomsman Josh makes sure his tie is perfect (photo by Lisa).
Some details: Lauren’s Badgley and Mischka shoes and her beaded handbag on a table along with her belt. Lauren takes her dress off of the hanger.
Lauren’s bridesmaids help her put her dress on and buttoned up.
Denise loves the results.
Lauren puts her shoes on. The light in the rooms at the Omni Bedford Springs is just lovely!
What a beautiful bride!
Lauren and Denise share a moment before heading downstairs to the ceremony.
Tom and his guys looked sharp in their dark blue suits and brown shoes. How about those socks! (photo by Lisa).
Ceremony on the Lawn
Details include Lauren and Tom’s favorite Bible verse and since it was the July 4th holiday weekend, some flags.
Lauren holds hands with Nicole as she waits to walk down the aisle with their dad Dave.
Tom was a very happy guy (photo by Lisa).
Lauren and Dave prepare to walk down the aisle in the lawn outside of the resort.
Everyone smiles as Dave prepares to present Lauren.
It was a fantastic, warm summer afternoon for Tom and Lauren’s Omni Bedford Springs Resort Wedding.
Nestled between the mountainside and the resort, it’s hard to imagine a more lovely setting.
Lauren was all smiles while exchanging vows.
Tom had the look of love as he spoke his vows.
Exchanging rings is usually good for a few laughs.
First kiss.
A lovely moment of prayer for this deeply faithful couple.
The look on Lauren’s face says all you need to know about how she felt!
The flags were a nice touch for a wedding that was so close to Independence Day.
Lauren and her girls.
Tom and the guys.
A toast to the happy couple!
Tom shows off his dance moves. Lauren is amused 😀
The Reception
The Colonnade Ballroom was decorated with taste and beauty.
Favors for the guests and some very clever place setting cards.
A loving moment on the dance floor during their first dance.
Lauren and Jaci share an emotional hug after Jaci’s toast.
Cutting the cake complete with icing being accidentally smeared.
A portrait beneath the skylight outside of the ballroom:
And one on the stairs on the walkway at the front of the resort.
Dancing!
Back to the dancefloor (photo by Lisa).
Lauren and Tom were on the dancefloor all evening long:
Conga line!
The bottom of their feet is my favorite thing about this photo 😀
Tom’s sister Josi applauds the couple at the end of the final dance of the evening:
