Fall Wedding at Springwood

Maggie and Andrew’s fall wedding at Springwood was a perfect example of Western Pennsylvania’s most beautiful time. Their day started at St. Anne Church in Castle Shannon before moving on to Springwood. Enjoy the photos!

Wedding at St. Anne Church

Maggie waited for the ceremony to begin with her mom Theresa and her sisters. They were all so excited!

Andrew watched as Maggie and Paul walked down the aisle (Lisa’s photo). I’ve photographed a couple of weddings at St. Anne’s and I absolutely love the interior.

I’ve got a great second photographer. She looks for moments outside of the main action and caught this moment between Theresa and Maggie’s grandmother. Photos like this add dimension to the story of a wedding. It’s what good documentary wedding photography is all about.

This is on the drive outside of the front of the church. The afternoon light was perfect.

Some detail photos from the Springwood atrium, where dinner was served. It’s a wonderful room that extends an outdoor feel beyond the warmer months. The cake was cinnamon rolls with icing and other delicious toppings. So good!

Party Time!

The folks at Springwood have closed in the pavilion with glass walls which make it a perfect spot for dancing. It was a nice spot before they enclosed it but you were at the mercy of the weather. It was a great addition to the space.

People had a blast — especially the kids!
