Lisa and Bob are planning a late summer wedding in 2011 at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, so for their engagement photo session we met at nearby Schenley Park. They’re a really fun couple who constantly joke around with each other. We had a lot of fun during the shoot.
It was another beautiful fall afternoon here in Pittsburgh. Honestly, the reputation that this city has for a lack of sunny days is beginning to seem a little ridiculous.
Here are some of my favorites from the session:
The first three photos were taken on Flagstaff Hill and the last photo was taken on the steps of the Frick Fine Arts Building. I just love how the light-colored concrete kicks the sunlight back up and softens the shadows!
I’ve been doing a lot of engagement sessions lately. It’s been very enjoyable getting to know the couples a little better without the stress and time constraints of the wedding day.
