Amy and Jared came back to Pittsburgh from their home in Central PA to hold their wedding at the Grand Concourse at Station Square. It was a beautiful late summer day for a wedding and we certainly had a lot of fun photographing the event.
Amy has a great sense of humor. She acted like she had to give some thought whether or not to say “I do” during the rehearsal the evening before. I thought the paper plate bouquet was a nice touch!
After the rehearsal, Amy and Jared surprised their friends and family with a ride on a Just Ducky Tours amphibious truck. Jared surprised Amy by proposing to her in a very public way on a Just Ducky tour.
Amy’s mom Rebecca makes a last minute repair to Amy’s gown. She looked fantastic in her neo-classical Greek dress.
Jared and his brother Paul got ready at Paul’s place on the South Side (Caroline’s photo)…
…while bridesmaid Lauren (Jared and Paul’s sister) and matron of honor Katie (Amy’s sister-in-law) helped fix Amy’s fascinator.

They made it!
Station Square was filled with beautiful brides that Saturday!

I love the looks on their faces as they see each other in their wedding clothes.
Details included an antique serving knife and a bicycling bride and groom cake topper from Etsy.
Amy’s dad Richard kisses her on the cheek as he gives her away.

Despite the possibility of it happening, there was no cake smashing.
Amy and Jared listen to the toasts.
Best man Paul gave a very nice speech.
The donut making machine is a popular feature at the Grand Concourse.

I love this photo by Caroline – even the people having dinner in the next room got into the party!

Yes!
The dance floor was packed the entire time! DJ Bill Bara made sure that things never slowed down:)
One final portrait at the end of the evening.
