I grew up just a couple of miles from the Succop Conservancy, so photographing a wedding there is almost like playing on my home court. Besides, it’s a great place for a wedding with a Civil War-era mansion, beautiful gardens, expansive grounds, awesome sunsets and that terrific red barn.
It was the perfect location for Becky and Zack’s friends and family – many of whom traveled great distances – to be together for their wedding celebration.
Becky is so expressive! I love her reaction to seeing the guest signing book with photos from their engagement portrait session:
Becky’s champagne-colored dress was very beautiful (next three photos by Caroline):
Zack and his groomsmen (and grooms-woman) waited on the opposite side of the house:
Becky’s friend Katie straightens the cards on the escort table. As someone who loves symmetry, I totally appreciated what she was doing.
Some details:
Becky’s niece Sophie checks her dress in the mirror with Christine. What a cutie! I loved the flowers in the dress.
Becky cracks me up!
The buttons required a deft touch.
She looked great!
Becky’s sister Libby tied Zack’s wedding band to her bouquet.
Zack’s mom Adele reacts as she sees her son all dressed up and ready to get married:
Toasts before the wedding:

The pavilion was the site of the reception:
First dance:
Sophie was out on the dance floor all night!
There was a bonfire for guests to enjoy while they took a break from dancing:
