Mandy and Justin are a great young couple who also happen to live near me here in Crafton. They’re very creative and the wedding and ceremony were a reflection of that quality. It was unique and lovely.
I rarely work by myself these days, but I covered this event solo and am pretty proud of the results.
The wedding was at a place called the SNPJ in northern Lawrence County. There are a bunch of rustic cabins, a lake, pavilions and a modern event center. I was there several years ago to cover a fireworks convention. A well known fireworks maker had been cremated and his ashes were placed in a huge firework shell. For the finale, the shell was shot high into the air and everybody applauded as the huge explosion filled the sky with color. A pretty awesome memorial, if you ask me:)
