It was two weddings in a row in Butler County in May. I really love the laid back atmosphere of country weddings.
Stacie and Eric’s wedding took place at the Succop Conservancy, which is a fantastic place for a wedding. The house dates from the mid-1800’s and the grounds feature mature trees, an outdoor pavilion, historic barn, and ponds.
Lots of laughter, dancing, great food, live music, and fun people made this wedding a blast to photograph.

Great shoes!

I loved the way they tied the motif of the birds, vines, flowers and leaves into all the printed materials:

The boys arrive:

From the second floor, Stacie kept an eye on the guests arriving while remaining out of sight:

Eric puts on his tie and vest:

Stacie’s cousin Skylar was a cute junior bridesmaid:

Placing flowers in remembrance of Stacie’s mom:

If you look at the left side of the frame that Caroline shot above, you’ll see me taking the picture below:

What a sweet kid:

Stacie has a GREAT laugh, she does not hold back!

Back in the house after the ceremony, Stacie stands with the best man Jeff while Eric comes up the stairs:

I consider myself a connoisseur of cookie tables. This was a quite a fine cookie table:

The girls bustle Stacie’s dress before the reception:

This little guy had the bluest eyes imaginable:

Stacie listened as her matron of honor Anna gave an emotional toast:

On to the first dance:

I love it when a moment happens during a portrait session. This is the goal I’m after when doing all that stuff like telling a couple where to stand and to face each other, etc:

Cameras were everywhere on the dance floor:

A Conservancy staff member uses a scooter to cross the grounds quickly:

The music was terrific! The incomparable House of Soul made sure that everybody got up and danced:

Stacie and Eric walk to their car at the end of the evening:

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, and am grateful to have shared the experience and tell the story.
