Nik Wallenda crossed the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh this evening on a wire the diameter of a nickel suspended 200 feet above the water. He made the 1,100-foot trip in 25 minutes.
My family and I watched the event from the deck of the RiverQuest Explorer. It was great to be out on the river to watch Wallenda’s death-defying walk. A big thanks to executive director Karl Thomas.
It was a unique event that we’ll remember for a long time.
