A Day at the Zoo

Considering this past winter, we’ve certainly earned the beautiful weather over the past few days.  Today my wife and I took the kids to meet friends at the zoo.  Given the traffic, I think there were probably 20 to 30 people in Western PA who weren’t there today.

We had a lot of fun catching up with old friends while the kids ran from exhibit to exhibit.  It was a really great day.

The polar bear exhibit is my favorite part of the zoo.  To be able to stand in a tunnel beneath the water and watch those animals swim is definitely something special.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a trip to the zoo without cookies and cream Dippin’ Dots – The Ice Cream of the Future 🙂

Tomorrow is a big day, I’ll be at the bridal show at the Succop Conservancy in Butler County from 11 to 3.  It’s a great place for a walk in the woods and to enjoy nature.  Come on by and say hello.

It’s good to take time off from work and spend time with family. Your kids looks like they were enjoying their ice cream and unaware of you taking their photo.

Great shot of the polar bear diving in. Reminds me of a place near Edinburgh over here in Scotland named “Deep Sea World” I got a similar shot of a shark from the underwater window. Looks like you had fun. Good luck with the bridal show 🙂
