The setting for Ashley and Jeff’s engagement session was Bushy Run Battlefield, near Harrison City in Westmoreland County. I hadn’t been there in years, but was quickly reminded just how tranquil and scenic the historic park is.
I brought my wife and kids along since we planned to visit my Aunt Rose after the photo session. Our daughter was a little bit nervous about going to a battlefield. She said she was afraid there would be bodies laying around! I assured her that wasn’t the case because the battle took place 247 years ago.
Thanks to the never ending construction on the Parkway East we were running a bit behind, so I was feeling a little frazzled. That all changed when we got there and Jeff asked if we could work his Harley into the photo session. Definitely yes:)
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the session:
There’s a lot of variety in the world of custom Harley Davidson motorcycles. Jeff’s bike is a “bobber” – which to my eye is the coolest kind. Think retro 1940’s – 1950’s from the great motorcycle movie, “The Wild One” starring Marlon Brando and Lee Marvin.
Thanks Ashley and Jeff!
