Hyeholde Wedding Pittsburgh
Adrienne and Travis’ Hyeholde Wedding Pittsburgh was filled with personal details that reflected their joyful personalities. They wanted an outdoor space for their ceremony and an elegant and private indoor space for their reception. The Hyeholde fit the bill perfectly. You’re really going to enjoy Adrienne and Travis’ energy and humor. Let’s look at some photos!
Getting Ready
Travis looked great in his gray suit with solid pink tie.
Adrienne was natural and lovely with her hair down and an elegant strapless dress.
The couple were each in a different part of the building but I thought it was pretty cool how they were each with their moms watching the guests arrive.
The Ceremony
Travis watches as Adrienne walks down the aisle towards him. The clearing in the woods was a private and natural setting as beautiful as any cathedral.

Instead of a bridal party, the couple chose to stand together at the front of their guests by themselves.
They exchanged vows.
And ended with a kiss!
I’m so happy I was able to get this angle for Adrienne and Travis. It shows their happiness and adds the context of their guests’ happiness for them.
Such great expressions!
A Few Minutes Alone
It’s a great idea to schedule a few minutes alone after your wedding. And by alone, I mean with me 😄 Seriously, I don’t count.
We walked around the grounds while the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour at the Hyeholde Wedding Pittsburgh.
After walking around for a little while the couple remembered that they hadn’t placed the notes that they’d written to each other in a wine box. It’s a nice idea to have the notes and the wine on your first anniversary.
The Hyeholde has a lot of funky little private areas. We had a great time exploring the grounds.
The bandshell is one of those places.
Travis is hilarious😂
These guys are so natural and happy with each other. The portrait session was so much fun!
A photo inside of the restaurant. Here’s the formula: (beautiful light + happy couple) x (terrific location – any other people) = A great photo!
The Room
The Round Room is, well, round. It’s also got these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light. The warm sandstone walls and wooden trim make the space so inviting. Each guest was given the makings for a s’more. There’s a fireplace at the back of the room where they could melt the marshmallows.
The table numbers doubled as a card where guests could leave messages for Adrienne and Travis to read on each of their anniversaries.
A small cake sat atop a tower of delicious cupcakes.
The Reception
The couple arrives to the cheers of their guests.
They cut a cupcake.
First dance.
The toasts were filled with some good-natured ribbing along with heartfelt sentiment.
Adrienne danced with her dad Rick while Travis danced with his mom Janet.
Adrienne shared a laugh with some of her friends.
While Travis shared an after-dinner cigar with the guys.
The lighter he used was a custom-printed Zippo which was a gift from Adrienne.
Back on the dance floor things got going!
Cheers!
