Usually I don’t get an opportunity to spend a lot of time with the groom and his guys before a wedding. This wedding was a little bit different in that the bride was getting ready in the women’s locker room at Green Oaks CC and members were still using the facilities, so I couldn’t really hang out until the golfers and swimmers cleared out. Kudos to my ace assistant Caroline for doing a great job covering the girls putting their makeup on and getting dressed. I was able to come into the room as Katie was putting the finishing touches on her gown and makeup.
With the bride’s side there’s always lots of nervous energy, and usually some tears. The vibe with the guys was completely different. To start with, there’s a lot more goofing off.

Jake brought along some fake mustaches to keep things lively as the guys got their tuxedoes on.
The 70's called. They want their mustaches back.
