Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall Wedding Photography
Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall Wedding Photography: Katrina and Eric get things done in a hurry – while they booked their venue well in advance, because of their busy work schedules they basically planned their entire wedding in just a couple of months this spring. Pretty impressive! Of course it helps when you’ve got a great crew to work with and that’s just what Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall has. It’s always a pleasure to work there.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.
Getting Ready and First Look
Katrina had her hair and makeup done on site, her friend Karen helped keep her steady as the veil went on.
Katrina and Eric were concerned about the weather, so she booked the Broderie Room at Phipps. It turned out to be a nice day, but I really applaud the decision to rent the room and eliminate the stress that can come from worrying about the weather. That’s where they had their first look.
Back to the Grand Hall for the Ceremony
Katrina and Eric used the townhouse across the street from the hall to get ready. It was a great place to cool off in the A/C before the ceremony.
Beautiful harp music welcomed the guests at The Grand Hall (photo by Phil Pavely).
I love this one of Katrina’s dad crying as he escorts her to the front of the hall for the ceremony (photo by Phil Pavely).
The ceremony was very sweet.
Eric’s mom and dad watched from the front row.
Portraits and Details
The garden across the street is a beautiful place for photos – especially when you’ve got a couple of people who are this happy.
Details.
The amazing Howard Mincone was on hand to entertain guests during the cocktail hour.
The Reception
Katrina was all smiles during the first dance!
This little guy had some great dance moves!
This was a very fun example of Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall Wedding Photography. Here’s another wedding you’ll enjoy: Brittany and Chris
