Here are some photos from a senior portrait session we shot on Labor Day.
Kyle wanted something a little different from the standard senior portrait – think trees and wagon wheels – so we headed for the Strip District.

Monday was kind of a blah day with overcast skies and rain. Luckily I carry my own sunshine in a little black bag. The ambient light levels were low enough that I could pretty much do whatever I wanted with my own lights.

We left the path and went up to the surface parking lot, which was empty thanks to the holiday.

The city makes a great backdrop, too:

Thanks to Kyle and his dad Scott for braving the nasty weather. We had a great time shooting these.
