Wedding Photography at Fairmont Hotel Pittsburgh: Jalyn and Chris’s fabulous wedding at the Fairmont in downtown Pittsburgh was a day of exceptional style and grace. It was also a terrific dance party!
Getting Ready for the Day
Jalyn and her girls hung out in her suite at the Fairmont. There was even some Irish step dancing!
Meanwhile, Chris was hard at work making sure that his shoes looked great (photos by James Knox):

Ceremony at St. Bernard in Mt. Lebanon
The ladies and the guys arrived separately to St. Bernard; a beautiful Roman Catholic church in Mt. Lebanon.

The altar at St. Bernard is a visual treat. It’s such an elegant space.
There were plenty of kiddos amongst the guests. Having grown up Catholic I know how they felt during the long mass. Their parents did a great job of keeping them happy.

Cocktails and Portraits
Chris and the guys made a quick stop at The Korner Pub before heading down to the convention center for portraits. You’d never know it was pouring down rain ☔️

Entering in Style
When they made their entrance Jalyn and Chris were greeted by guests waving their napkins like Terrible Towels!
Details
I love a good cookie table and Jalyn and Chris definitely had one. It was pretty cool how the cookies were miniature replicas of their 5-tiered wedding cake!
Alexis Allen from Shayla Hawkins Events did an amazing job of setting the scene for a fantastic evening. The escort table and souvenir sunglasses were set up for the guests.
Look at this head table! The globe ornaments hanging from greenery contained votive candles. It was all so beautiful.

After that, the dance floor was open. It was a HUGE dance party! Everyone was on the dancefloor until the end of the evening.
