McConnell’s Mill State Park in Lawrence County has always been one of my favorite places to photograph. I’ve been going there as long as I can remember and when I got my first camera it was natural that I’d try it out at McConnell’s Mill.

The park can be crazy busy in the summer time, but you can still manage to find a quiet place to commune with nature. Winter is no where near as busy and it offers a beauty all it’s own.

I went there on Thursday after an assignment in Slippery Rock on Thursday afternoon.
