Winter Wedding at the Chadwick: I love winter weddings, there’s something special about them. Maybe they stand out because they’re a little bit out of the ordinary – at least in cold weather cities like Pittsburgh.
Whitney and Jamal had their wedding at The Chadwick in Wexford. It was a day filled with love, happiness, and lots and lots of dancing. The perfect way to spend a winter afternoon!
Rehearsal
I went to the rehearsal the night before, and could tell then that Whitney has a very close relationship with her dad, Earnest.

The rehearsal dinner was very nice. Folks traveled from as far away as London to be there with Whitney and Jamal.
The Wedding Day
On the morning of the wedding, Whitney’s dad steamed the wrinkles out of her dress. Dads will do anything for their little girls.
Jamal checked his tie in the mirror before Whitney arrived at The Chadwick.

The guys shared a toast while they were sequestered in Fresco’s, the restaurant attached to The Chadwick.
Whitney looks over a poem she would read to Jamal later as a part of the ceremony.

The Ceremony
As the processional starts, Whitney peeks out of the ready room looking for her cue to walk down the aisle.

Jamal’s brother and best man Bertram cracked everybody up when he pretended he didn’t have the rings.
The mirror was all part of the ceremony.
I love Jamal’s expression as he and Whitney are introduced as husband and wife!
