Shadyside Presbyterian Church and Duquesne Club Wedding
Shadyside Presbyterian Church and Duquesne Club Wedding: To Alexis, her wedding day seemed to come very quickly. I was so excited to get the season started that it felt like it took forever to get here.
Alexis and Andy‘s wedding was held on a beautiful spring afternoon in Pittsburgh. Flowers and trees were in bloom and the rain stayed away!
Getting Ready
I started with Alexis and the girls as they got ready at her parent’s home.
Alexis and her mom Diane were delighted with the bouquets from Mocha Rose Floral Designs.
I was so happy to be able to work with my friend Jasmine Goldband. She met the Andy and the guys as they got ready at the Duquesne Club. While I was editing the photos I noticed the parallels between the girls and the guys – the clocks on the cameras were synched – and thought it was pretty cool how the two groups were doing similar things at the same time. Here, Andy helps Alexis’ dad, Dennis, with his cufflinks.
While Lauren, Andy’s sister and the maid of honor, helps bridesmaid Kathleen put on a bracelet.

The beautiful bride.
Jasmine told me that Dennis is quite the pool shark.
Wonderful sunlight was streaming through the windows in the living room.

While Andy waited in the pastor’s study (Jasmine’s photo).
The church has a pretty strict policy on photos during the ceremony. You can see that in the sign in the photo below. But I used my super spy camera to get a few shots of the ceremony🕵🏼♂️

Alexis and her brother Peter are very close. Some day my kids will get along this well. I hope:)

Dennis and Diane could do stand-up comedy together.
