Lisa and Bob are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They’re very busy people and have been putting the pieces into place for the big day for quite a while now. It was a year ago that we got together for their engagement portrait session. All that planning paid off; the pace of the day was relaxed and everybody had a fantastic time. Phipps is a great place for a wedding, and we were lucky to have a beautiful evening for an outdoor ceremony.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the day:
Lisa and maid of honor Danielle share a mimosa toast at the Steven Szabo salon in McMurray:
Bridesmaids Jessica, Margaret, and Dyan:
After the hair appointment, we had a relaxing and delicious (thanks again, Lisa!) lunch at Juniper Grill in Peters Township:
Jasmine Goldband handled the photos of the guys as they got ready. Later, she told me that they made her curse before they’d let her join them. Being an experienced newspaper photojournalist, she obliged 🙂
The guys put a lot of thought into their pre-wedding wardrobe choices:
After lunch, it was off to Macy’s in South Hills Village for makeup:
Lisa looks terrific!
The guys had a great time before the wedding. Words simply fail me when I look at this sequence of images 😀 The wedding bands were hand made by Bob!
Lisa’s very talented bridesmaid Susan designed the place cards and the program:
Lisa’s brother with his daughter Leah:
It was a very funny moment when Lisa and Bob’s moms realized that they’d bought the same outfit for their kids’ wedding. Hey, they’ve both got good taste!
Lisa and her dad before walking down the aisle:
Next two are Jasmine’s photos:
You never know what you’ll find in a place like Phipps:

Thanks again Lisa and Bob, we had a wonderful time. I wish you both all of the best!
