Pittsburgh Field Club Wedding
Lindsey and Andy are enthusiastic about outdoor sports, so their Pittsburgh Field Club wedding with its beautiful landscape was the natural choice of venue. They met in Colorado, where they are avid skiers, and came back to Lindsey’s home town of Fox Chapel to get married.
Getting Ready
Lindsey got ready at her parent’s house, just a few minutes down the road from the Field Club. Her mom Susanna looks on as Lindsey checks herself out in a full-length mirror:
Andy and his guys got dressed in the men’s locker room. It’s men-only in there, so this was one of those times when it’s good to have both a male (me) and a female on your team.
Before the ceremony there was time for a couple of portraits. Lisa photographed Lindsey and I photographed Andy:
The First Look
Andy brought some crystals along with him to provide some positive energy during the ceremony. He arranged them in the spot where they’d be saying their vows later in the day:

We did one more quick portrait before the guests arrived.
An Outdoor Ceremony
Lindsey and her dad, Jack waited in a room off of the patio.
While Andy and the groomsmen waited down in the locker room for the ceremony to begin.
Lindsey watched from a window as their guests were seated. She has amazing blue eyes!
Someone else had amazing blue eyes, too.
Lindsey and her matron of honor Sarah share a hug as the girls line up for the processional.
Ring bearers Laszlo and Ryder waited with their sister, flower girl Shyla for their turn to walk down the aisle.

Andy’s brother Tony served as officiant.
The first kiss happened just as the sun was setting over the clubhouse.
