Wedding at Twelve Oaks Mansion
Julie and Chad had a picture perfect evening for their wedding at Twelve Oaks Mansion in Adams Township, Butler County. The surroundings and atmosphere they chose fit their personalities very well – laid back, fun, and down to earth. It was an evening filled with family, friends, and lots of dancing. In other words, we all had fun:)
Without any further adieu, here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding.
Getting Ready at The Mariott
Chad gets a few words of encouragement before heading upstairs to get ready at the Mariott Pittsburgh North.
Julie and Kaelyn’s dresses hang on the mirror in Julie’s room.

What a cute daughter Julie and Chad have!
Julie’s mom Christine helps her get the dress on while her sister Jessica looks on.
Borrowed and blue, Julie wore her grandmother’s garter.
Chad gets his coat on. The couple chose a color scheme featuring black, white, and red.
Chad’s mom Patricia pins on his boutonnière and then takes a look at her handsome son.
Meanwhile, Julie was looking fabulous.

Off to Twelve Oaks Mansion.
The ladies gathered for a photo on the patio.

One last look in the mirror before heading outside for the ceremony.
An Outdoor Ceremony

Julie and Chad were joined by Kaelyn as they exchanged vows (Caroline’s Photo).
I love the look on Julie’s face in this one.

Kaelyn had the run of the place while the ceremony was going on. She had a great time!
Julie and Chad mixed different colored grains of sand together in a Unity Sand Ceremony.
Portraits
Julie and Chad with their sisters Jessica (left) and Breann. Those are a couple of good-looking little sisters!
The whole bridal party. The light at sunset was fantastic high up on the hill above Rt. 228. Twelve Oaks is close to all the shops and restaurants springing up in Adams Twp. but it’s very private and secluded, too.
Reception Time
After the sun dipped below the horizon, it was time to head inside for the first dance.
Jessica gave a speech that left nearly everyone in tears.
Shaun, the best man, cracked everybody up with a story about Chad and Julie.
The cake was in front of a window, so I went outside to get a different angle when they cut it.
Julie and Chad just had to make sure that the other got as much cake on them as in them (Caroline’s photo).
The single ladies called for Julie to toss the bouquet.
The dancing began in earnest.
After welcoming their guests and making sure they were having a good time, Julie and Chad grabbed a quick bite of dinner before hitting the dance floor.
Julie’s grandmother and her date were excellent dancers.
OK, this was pretty amazing. Chad’s buddy did the robot for the entire 5-1/2 minutes of Styx’ Mr. Roboto. One of the guests standing next to me said, “What a magnificent performance.” I doubt I’ll ever see something quite like it again.
Thanks – or domo arigato – that song is still stuck in my head:) We had a great time photographing your wedding!
