Fallingwater Wedding Photography
Kind of a nice house, huh? Fallingwater wedding photography of Nicki and Mike’s marriage at a Western Pennsylvania landmark.
Nicki and Mike traveled from their home in Chicago to Western Pennsylvania (where Nicki has roots) for their wedding. They chose the barn at Fallingwater and I must say that everything about the day was beautiful. It was a thrill to photograph at Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece – an experience made all the better by being there for such lovely people. Plus, I got to work with my dear friend and fine photographer, Jasmine Goldband.
Getting Ready at the Farmhouse
Nicki got ready upstairs at the farmhouse next to the barn.
Mike got ready downstairs (photo by Jasmine).
First look.
Portrait Session at Fallingwater
Then it was off to Fallingwater for portraits. Nicki wore the coolest, handmade designer dress from Luna in Sewickley.
Everybody loves a lover:)
Ceremony at the Barn at Fallingwater
The weather was perfect for an outside wedding.
Nicki and Mike share a private moment in the farmhouse just after the ceremony.
Guests lined up to pelt them with flower petals as they walked up the path to the cocktail hour.

Reception
First dance.
Love this one by Jasmine.
The guests had to sing if they wanted Nicki and Mike to kiss!
This guy really knew how to toast!
Mike’s granddaughter out on the dance floor.
This was most definitely a dancing crowd.
Mike danced with his two daughters.
I love an atmosphere where guests can move freely indoors and outdoors. The Barn at Fallingwater is just that kind of place.
Big thanks go out to planner Melissa Crawford for all of her help. She’s always great to work with. If you’re looking for a barn wedding that is elegant but rustic you ought to check out this wedding: Kristin and Pat
